Invesco Perpetual promotes Andrew Hall to fund manager

Invesco Perpetual has announced the appointment of Andrew Hall as fund manager for the Invesco Perpetual Global Opportunities Fund as of 30 May 2014. Hall will work alongside Stephen Anness, who remains the lead manager of the fund.

Hall joined Invesco in May 2013, and has already been working as part of the global equities team. He joined Invesco from Bramshott Capital LLP, a spin-off of Moore Europe Capital Management.

Prior to that, he worked as European equity analyst for Moore Europe Capital Management. He has also worked for Merril Lynch and UBS Warburg and has 14 years of experience in the industry.

Commenting on his appointment, Nick Mustoe, CIO of Invesco Perpetual said: “Andrew has made a strong contribution to the investment process of the Invesco Perpetual Global Opportunities Fund. He brings a consistent level of analytical rigour and active idea generation and also provides good support to Stephen, helping the team to build conviction in its investments.”
