Kames Capital restructures property team in wake of new hires
Kames Capital will be restructuring its property division into five teams; indirect property, research, specialist funds, property equities and direct property.
Charles Follows who will head the property research team, and Mark Bunney who will lead the indirect team, have both joined from ING REIM UK, as have two other new hires, Matt Day and Tony Yu.
Phil Clark, who headed the original property team, will retain control of the team responsible for the Kames Target Healthcare Property Fund. Rogier van Aart who is responsible for Real Estate Investment Trusts within Kames Capital’s Multi Asset Group will also be working closely with Clark.
David Wise continues to head the direct team of six which is responsible for the management of the Active Value Property Fund and the AEGON UK Property Fund.
Clark says: “The arrival of Charles, Mark, Matt and Tony is an excellent opportunity to realign our structure into distinct teams concentrating on their areas of specialism. This move also provides greater clarity to our existing and prospective clients about the services and products we can and do provide across the property spectrum.”
“All of our property division are highly experienced individuals with each team member having an average of 16 years property experience. As such investors benefit from this vast knowledge bank in our chosen fields of specialism.”
