Kinetic Partners mark anniversary with two appointments

Kinetic Partners, a London-based provider of professional services to the financial industry, has marked its seventh anniversary with two appointments.

In the past year Kinetic Partners expanded into two new jurisdictions, opening offices in Hong Kong and Luxembourg, adding to its existing network of offices in London, Dublin, Grand Cayman, New York and Geneva.

To support this growth, Kinetic Partners has appointed Patrick Voss as strategic marketing director, responsible for linking business strategy with effective marketing planning and execution across territories and service lines. Deborah Weston has been hired to head the firm’s audit and assurance practice.

The firm is also growing other areas of its business. As new regulations, including the AIFM Directive, the UK Bribery Act, the Remuneration Code, FATCA and the Dodd-Frank Reform Act, are implemented Kinetic has grown its regulation and compliance practice, with the US team assisting almost 100 firms in preparing their SEC registrations.

Raymond O’Neill, a founding member of Kinetic Partners, said: “Following another tumultuous year for the global financial services industry, we are delighted to have enjoyed another successful year of growth as we continue to adapt our business to meet the needs of our clients.

“Faced with an uncertain regulatory landscape, new demands for governance standards and changing expectations from investors, now more than ever our clients require bespoke, expert advice, and our global presence coupled with our unique expertise and experience can deliver this. We will continue to grow our business in line with industry developments and will look to extend our global presence further in response to the changing needs of our clients.”

Kinetic Partners was formed in March 2005 by David Butler, Julian Korek (pictured) and Raymond O’Neill, together with business partner Ali Sarikani, establishing the first office in London.
