Lyxor’s Alexandre Werno appointed as executive vice general manager of Fortune SG
Lyxor Asset Management has appointed Alexandre Werno as executive vice general manager of Fortune SG Fund Management Co. Ltd (Fortune SG).
Based in Shanghai, Werno will be in charge of the supervision of mandate and institutional sales as well as of risk control. He replaces Gilbert Tse, who was appointed head of Lyxor for Asia in March last year.
Fortune SG is a joint venture between Fortune Investment, which is part of the Baosteel Group, and Lyxor Asset Management. It has branches in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and a subsidiary in Hong Kong with Renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor capabilities.
In the course of 2014, Fortune SG will diversify its offering and develop new sectorial equity funds and index linked products, propose cross-border innovative solutions and alternative businesses both on the fund of hedge funds and alternative managed accounts.
Alexandre joined Fortune SG in May last year as senior advisor to the general manager. He previously worked for Societé Générale, where he was in charge of the institutional business development in China.
