Morningstar lists nominees for European Fund Manager of the Year Awards
Morningstar has released the names of managers nominated for the three key categories in its European Fund Manager of the Year awards, covering European Equity, Global Equity and European Fixed-Income.
Christopher Traulsen, director of European fund research for Morningstar, said.
“These awards are a culmination of our analysts’ work researching more than 1,400 fund offerings available to investors across Europe, and identify the best managers whom we believe stand out amongst their peers.”
“Our awards commend those managers who have not only demonstrated excellence in the past year, but who have consistently delivered for shareholders over the long term.”

Nominations for a Morningstar Fund Manager of the Year award are made by Morningstar’s European fund research team consisting of fund analysts based in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Finland, and Norway. To qualify for the award, nominated funds must be Morningstar Medalists–a fund that has garnered a Morningstar Analyst Rating of Gold, Silver, or Bronze. A fund manager may be nominated for a fund domiciled anywhere in Europe.
The winners of the Morningstar European Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2014 will be announced on Thursday, 27 March 2014.
