Natixis AM unveils ‘Seeyond’ investment division
Natixis Asset Management unveiled today an investment division dedicated to structured products and volatility management to offer investors more durable investments in a consistently volatile economic environment.
Dubbed ‘Seeyond’, the division is marketed internationally by the global distribution platform of Natixis Global AM and is intended for all types of investors, both professional and retail, including institutional investors, multi-managers, private banks, IFAs and banking networks.
The division has €14.7 billion in assets under management and 32 employees. It has been created from Natixis Asset Management’s existing structured products and volatility management division, with a greater focus of specialisms and enhanced resources within a single division.
“From our assessment of investment performance over the past decade, it is apparent investors have not been remunerated in proportion to the risk taken. By launching Seeyond, we are taking a fresh view by implementing different strategies with an active approach in which investment decisions are both objectively assessed by models and risk-weighted,” said Emmanuel Bourdeix, co-Chief Investment officer of Natixis AM and head of Seeyond’s investment division.
The division proposes structured management, flexible asset allocation, active volatility management, model-driven equity management or long/short equity strategies, to provide solutions that combine performance generation with risk reduction.
“Based on our own research with clients and in the market, we have created a new investment division so that we are best placed to respond flexibly to the needs and concerns of investors seeking resilient investments in a consistently volatile environment,” added Pascal Voisin, managing director at Natixis Asset Management.
