Natixis boosts international product group with hires from SLI, Wellington
Natixis Global Asset Management has added two senior executives to its international product group. The duo comes from Standard Life Investments and Wellington Management, respectively.
James Beaumont moves over form his position as senior investment analyst in Standard Life Investments’ fund solutions team. Prior to that, he has also worked as a fund of hedge funds portfolio manager at Thames River Capital.
His new role at Natixis as head of product consulting and solutions, durable portfolio consultant, will involve enhancing the sales effort through training, education, sales collateral development and the delivery of portfolio construction expertise.
Catherine Morat joins from Wellington Management as head of the product marketing team. At Wellington, she was director, relationship manager and sales and marketing specialist, focusing on European sub-advisory clients.
Both roles will report into Cora Gibbons, head of the international product group, based in the London office.
The team in London has already reached nearly 40 in headcount, having seen a number of key hires this year, and additional appointments are planned.
Natixis Global Asset Management brings together the expertise of multiple specialized investment managers based in Europe, the United States and Asia offering equity, fixed-income and alternative investment strategies.
Headquartered in Paris and Boston, the firm had €562bn in assets under management at end of March.
