Neptune appoints head of strategic partnerships
UK independent fund management company Neptune has named Adam Hughes as head of UK wholesale, following a review of its UK sales team.
The review was prompted by the departure of John Lester, Dennis Pelleritto and Andrew Nixon, but was undertaken with an eye on the Retail Distribution Review, which is due to be implemented next year.
Andy Larkin joins from M&G, and will spearhead the five-person third-party team at Neptune. Larkin reports to Adam Hughes, head of intermediary sales.
Hughes said: “He will be a fantastic asset to the business and will undoubtedly put renewed energy behind these important relationships and the broader Neptune third-party team.”
Nick Pogmore joins Neptune from Ignis as the intermediary sales manager for the South East, while Harry Reeves joins from Artemis to look after key accounts in the South West. They will report directly to Hughes and complete a further five-person intermediary sales team covering the UK.
Neptune’s sales director, Patrick Berton added: “With Hughes leading our wholesale proposition, supported by Larkin driving our strategic partner relationships, I am confident that we will achieve the necessary synergies to provide a better service for our clients in all regions across the UK.”
