New directors for Lord North Street private investment office
Lord North Street, the London-based Private Investment Office, has appointed Sonia de Luca and Eirian Jones as new directors of the company. In addition, Edward Tollemache joins as a client portfolio manager.
de Luca was recently appointed a Director of Lord North Street Switzerland, the newly formed Swiss-based Private Investment Office opened in November 2012.
Jones has been with the firm since 2005 and is head of the Investment Team in London, responsible for the manager selection process and co-ordinating tactical asset allocations.
Tollemache joins from Fleming Family & Partners, where he has been since 2002, performing a similar role. Prior to that he worked for Merrill Lynch. He will report to Drew McNeil, director in charge of client portfolio management.
Lord North Street is structured as a private investment office serving a range of clients, charities and endowments globally. Unlike a family office or a multi family office, which may have a dominant owning family, Lord North Street has no in-house products.
It searches for the best managers of individual asset classes for clients, advises families and endowments on appropriate asset allocation, charges competitive transparent fees and takes no retrocessions.
“Lord North Street seeks to ensure that client assets are held securely and continues to manage its affairs free of any growth imperative for the business which might otherwise be detrimental to the servicing of clients,” a statement said.
