Nikko AM hires head of marketing from Fidelity Singapore

Joyce Koh has joined Nikko Asset Management Asia as head of marketing, responsible for all marketing and branding in South-east Asia.

Koh joins from Fidelity Singapore, where she headed marketing. Previously, she worked at Aviva Singapore as brand and communications manager.

Koh’s appointment is the latest in a number announced by Nikko AM Asia following its takeover of DBS Asset Management in the last quarter of 2011. Singapore is Nikko’s hub for Asia ex-Japan business, and is being built out to support an expansion strategy both in terms of fund management and distribution.

Nikko Asset Management Group has estimated assets under management of $157bn, and distributes through an Asia-Pacific network of some 300 banks, brokers and life insurers.
