Northill Capital appoints new partners
Northill Capital, the London-based asset management business backed by the Bertarelli family, has appointed Darius Berendji and Cathy Jones as Partners of the firm.
Berendji takes on the role of chief financial officer and Jones as head of human resources. They join existing partners Jon Little, Rick Potter and Jeremy Bassil.
Little, former vice-chairman of BNY Mellon Asset Management, founded Northill Capital in November 2010 as an independent, privately held asset management business, with substantial financial backing from trusts associated with the Bertarelli Family.
Northill’s long-term strategy is to build a portfolio of high quality asset management businesses, Little said. “Northill has grown steadily since we founded the business in November 2010 in line with our long-term strategy to build a portfolio of high quality asset management businesses. We are pleased to welcome both Darius and Cathy as Partners in the business and to have made a number of key additional appointments as we continue to invest in strengthening our team.”
Berendji was the Financial Director for a number of the Bertarelli Family’s businesses, including Kedge Capital, an investment management firm specialising in hedge funds and private equity.
Jones was head of the human resources function for the company’s EMEA asset servicing business, and was previously Human Resources Business Partner at AMP in Australia.
Other recent appointments at Northill include Hazel Vosper as Head of Risk and Governance, Andrew Curtis as Head of Compliance and Darren Butt as Director of Project Management and Operations.
