Pimco launches Global Investor Series fund range in Belgium
Pimco is launching 14 of its Global Investment Series of funds in Belgium for retail investors, offering access to global and regional fixed income, credit portfolios, asset allocation and alternative solutions.
The move is intended to build on Pimco’s existing presence in the institutional market, and includes “a strategy of partnering with leading intermediaries to facilitate the distribution and growth of the fund range,” said Patrick Dunnewolt, head of Business Development in the Benelux region.
There are 14 Pimco GIS funds available to Belgian investors, including the Total Return Bond fund managed by Bill Gross (pictured), which has some €22.5bn under management, the Global Multi-Asset Bond fund managed by Mohamed El-Erian, €2.8bn AUM, and the Diversified Income fund, €5.6bn, managed by Eve Tournier.
The GIS range is registered in Dublin and Ucits compliant. The full range includes more than 40 sub-funds, with €82bn under management according to most recent figures. The retail share classes are available through third party distribution platforms and bank networks, Pimco said.
