RBC Wealth Management boosts focus on Channel Islands
RBC Wealth Management has appointed Adam Norris as senior manager Intermediary Business Development to lead the company’s push deeper into the Channel Islands.
RBCWM has launched an “Intermediary Wealth Solutions” offering, which Norris will be responsible for promoting among offshore trust companies, offshore fund and investment managers, family offices, insurance companies and captives.
Services offered through the “Solutions” business include banking, cash management, treasury services, global custody, credit and financing, discretionary asset management and tax consultancy.
Stuart Rutledge, head of Global Trust, said: “This initiative is in direct response to the increasing demand that we have seen from local businesses as the ongoing market uncertainty has led them to seek stable and established institutions to partner with. We believe that our unique value proposition means that we are ideally placed to become a leading provider of wealth services to the intermediary market in Jersey and Guernsey.”
Norris has joined RBCWM from HSBC Private Bank’s operations covering the Islands. Prior to that he was at Deutsche Bank in Jersey.
