Revetas Capital and Patron Capital invest in CEE distressed property assets
Real estate specialist Revetas Capital Advisers LLP has agreed a strategic relationship with Patron Capital Partners to invest in opportunities of up to €100m in distressed real estate within Central and Eastern European, both for funds advised by Revetas and funds advised by Patron Capital Partners.
Guernsey-based Revetas’s principals have previously co-invested with Patron Capital Partners in the restructuring and ultimate exit of properties in CEE. Revetas is now seeking backing for a regional fund with a hard cap of €250m.
Keith Breslauer of Patron Capital Partners is to join Revetas’ advisory committee to provide strategic advice and share his expertise in these markets.
Revetas managing director Eric Assimakopoulos said the firm combines a strong asset management team with access to capital. The strategy will support leading banks, investors and local owners to recapitalise, restructure, and de-leverage properties throughout CEE.
Revetas, which also has an office in Bratislava, said it has a proven track record and excellent relationships with key banks from Austria, Germany and Italy that operate in the region.
