Schroders hires co-manager for Global Energy, Small Cap Energy funds

Schroders has announced the appointment of Mark Lacey as co-fund manager on on the Scrhoder ISF Global Energy and Small Cap Energy funds.

Lacey (pictured) previously worked at commodities trader Mercuria Global Energy Solutions, at Investec Asset Management as co-fund manager of the Investec GSF Global Energy and Enhanced Global Energy funds, and at Goldman Sachs as co-head of the energy team. He has soem 17 years of industry experience overall.

At Schroders he joins manager John Coyle, although neither fund changes its investment objectives.

Lacey will join Schroders on 9 September, and report to Peter Harrison, Global head of Equities and will work alongside the Global and International Equities team providing specialist energy analysis and stock recommendations.
