Schroders strengthens German team for second time in July
Schroders has strengthened its distribution team in Frankfurt by hiring Daniela Euchner from American investment manager and insurer Hartford Life, as assistant for the distribution of mutual funds. It is the company’s second key hire in Germany this month.
Euchner (pictured) will report to Melanie Stahl, head of distribution for Schroder Investment Management GmbH.
At Hartford Life, Euchner was a key account manager working on that company’s expansion into Germany. Before that she worked for 10 years for the Frankfurter Sparkasse.
Stahl said: “With the appointment of Daniela Euchner we want to build out further our distribution team in Frankfurt, to add to the strong development of our business over the past years, and to strengthen further the relationships with out distribution partners.”
At the start of July, Schroders announced the appointment of Tanja Engel from American Express, as chief operating officer in Frankfurt. She is responsible for business areas including compliance, IT, planning and control, and reports to Schroders’ managing director in Germany, Achim Küssner.
