Skandia UK launches iPad app for assessing risk appetite
Skandia UK has launched an iPad app for financial advisers in the UK to use when assessing client attitude to risk.
The iPad app follows on from the launch of similar apps for iPhone and Android hardware.
The application runs through 11-13 questions to assess appetite for risk, resulting in a risk score of between 1-10. The app then quantifies what the risk score means in terms of a range of expected returns.
The iPad version is different in that it also enables advisers to immediately capture client signatures to confirm they agree with the risk level selected.
Jeremy Mugridge, head of Digital at Skandia UK said: “Feedback from advisers has demonstrated the importance of developing an iPad version of the successful phone app. The iPad adaptation is incredibly easy to use and we’ve been able to utilise the larger screen size of the iPad to improve the overall user experience.”
Skandia UK has about £32bn in funds under management on its retail investment platform.
