Source appoints Swiss director
Source, the European Exchange Traded Product provider, has appointed Mark Vallon as a new director to liaise with institutions in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, including private banks.
He was previously a sales director at BNP Paribas Investment Partners in Zurich, where he was responsible for fund distribution to banks, asset managers, life insurers and family offices in Switzerland.
Vallon has also worked at UBS Wealth Management, where he managed sales related projects targeting Swiss private and corporate clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Zurich.
Source’s AUM at the end of June stood at $9.1bn, following strong inflows since the beginning of the year. July has seen a further $230m in net new assets after robust growth in June.
The firm said equity and commodity products continued to gather assets, while investor interest in volatility and fixed income investment solutions grew considerably.
