Source lists ETF on LSE for sterling exposure
Source has listed the Man GLG Europe Plus ETF on the London Stock Exchange to provide investors in the product with sterling exposure.
The ETF, with $800m in assets under management, previously only had a Euro share class through its listing on the Deutsch Börse.
the fund is a ‘smart beta’ outperformance strategy which seeks to provide the performance of the Man GLG Europe Plus Index.
This index replicates a liquid, highly diversified long only European equity portfolio. It has a market cap exposure to the broad European equity market, and aims to deliver enhanced returns.
The ETF has seen strong inflows since its inception last January. Investors have been attracted by returns 306 basis points above those of the MSCI Europe TR index over the last 12 months.
Ted Hood, CEO of Source, said: “Investors looking for ‘smart beta’ outperformance products which have chosen this ETF have enjoyed excess return over MSCI Europe. The volume of assets raised since inception is evidence of its appeal.”
