Standard & Poor’s equity analysts strong in WSJ survey
Ten of Standard & Poor’s Equity Research Services analysts have been awarded “Best on the Street” honours for 2011 by the Wall Street Journal.
S&P’s US-based equity analyst team has been ranked in the top 10 of the “Best on the Street” awards in six out of the past nine years.
This year airlines equity analyst Jim Corridore received the award for the sixth time. Joseph Agnese, Michael Jaffe, and Efraim Levy are three-time recipients. Esther Kwon, Robert McMillan, and Angelo Zino are all second-time winners.
“It is a great accomplishment for our global equity research team to be ranked number one for stock selection, particularly during a period of high equity market volatility,” said Yannick Mathieu, vice president, European
Equity Operations for Standard & Poor’s.
“Our European team work closely with our global colleagues, to produce a depth and quality of coverage that offers best-in-class equity research for our clients, using fundamental and valuation approaches that have proven successful through many economic and market cycles.”
