SWIP appoints head of global strategy

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) has appointed Kenneth Anderson as investment director in its global strategy team. Anderson will work out of SWIP’s Edinburgh office.

Anderson joins from BlackRock International, where he was co-head of EAFE equities and investment director of European Equities. He will report to Ken Adams, head of global strategy at SWIP.

Adams said: “SWIP’s global strategy team plays a key role in determining SWIP’s house view on asset classes with the aim of adding value across client portfolios through tactical asset allocation decisions. Kenneth is an experienced fund manager with a strong analytical background and has a wealth of practical experience in bridging the link between the macro-economy and markets.

“His skills will further enhance our expertise and add increased depth to our global strategy capability,” Adams said.
