Threadneedle’s Ring replaces Fleming as head of distribution
Nick Ring has been promoted to head of Distribution at Threadneedle after Campbell Fleming took over as CEO at the group.
Ring, who joined Threadneedle five years ago and had been global head of product, will be responsible for leading the group’s sales, client service, marketing and product development efforts.
The ex-Northern Trust man has overseen the launch of Threadneedle’s commodity products and establishment of its absolute return range, as well as heading the group’s North American distribution team since mid-2011.
He will report to Fleming and will also join the company’s business executive committee.
“[Ring] brings to the head of distribution role extensive technical knowledge and industry experience, combined with a strong strategic focus,” Fleming said.
“He is well placed to lead the distribution team as we continue to strive to deliver outstanding service, effective product solutions and leading investment performance for our diverse range of clients globally.”
