Vanguard fills senior European role from Axa Rosenberg
Vanguard has appointed Simon Vanstone as head of its European institutional business, hiring him from Axa Rosenberg where he was European CEO and chief marketing officer.
It is the second recruitment from such a senior position in Europe announced today.
Pension consultants bfinance said they had hired Michel Haski from his role as Allianz Global Investors Europe’s chief executive officer.
At Vanguard in London, Vanstone will oversee the pan-European institutional business Vanguard already has – pensions, multi-managers, sovereign wealth funds, among others.
Tom Rampulla, Vanguard’s managing director, said: “Vanguard has a long history of serving institutional clients, and we are using this expertise to help them navigate a rapidly changing environment, in which there is an increased focus on transparency, costs and risk.”
The goup currently has its European headquarters in London, and regional offices in Zurich, Paris, and Amsterdam.
