Amundi appoints head of equities

French asset manager Amundi has appointed Kasper Elmgreen as head of equities from Nordea Asset Management.

The appointment of Elmgreen follows the exit of Amundi’s former head of equities, Diego Franzin earlier this summer.

At Nordea, Elmgreen was head of Fundamental Equities. In addition to his management role, he was lead portfolio manager on Nordea European Focus Equity Fund.

Elmgreen joined Nordea Asset Management in 2014 from a position as head of Equities at BankInvest Asset Management. At BankInvest he was responsible all equity investments and a team of 20 Investment Professionals. He was also part of the Investment Board (PM) for the 4 Morningstar rated Global Equity fund.
