Forum Partners appoints Wells to head Asia business

Forum Partners has appointed Gregory Wells as managing director and head of Asia in Forum’s Hong Kong Office.

He joined from Deutsche Bank and will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s private equity business in Asia.

Wells has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a particular focus on China and Japan. At Deutsche Bank, he established and managed the firm’s commercial real estate business in the Asia Pacific region, before shifting his focus to the US. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Gregory established and built the Chinese real estate law practice for Paul, Hastings in Shanghai and held a series of roles at Morgan Stanley Japan, including Chief Financial Officer of its real estate funds Asia.
