Kinetic Partners post sixth year of strong growth in 2010
Financial services and consultancy company Kinetic Partners has announced strong results for 2010 with revenues rising by 24% and profits increasing by 28% – the company does not disclose actual figures for the results.
New staff was taken on in 2010 reflecting growing business demand. The regulation and compliance team was increased from 25 to 40 staff and the company now has 110 employees in five offices in London, Dublin, the Cayman Islands, New York and Geneva, servicing more than 1,000 clients. A new office in Hong Kong is due to open later this year.
Kinetic said business was strong for its US and Cayman Islands offices as firms faced more intrusive supervision from regulators or financial difficulties following the 2008 crisis.
The remit of the corporate recovery team has been expanded to include asset and fund restructuring. The demand for risk and valuation services has also grown as firms seek to anticipate new regulatory requirements and their potential impact on their business.
“As the industry is gradually emerging from this crisis, we have built and adapted our business to help our clients meet a changing regulatory landscape, new governance standards and more stringent demands from both investors and regulators,” said Kinetic founding member Raymond O’Neill.
