UniCredit names Scheffold head of Global Securities Services
UniCredit has announced that Susanna Scheffold is taking over responsibility as head of Global Securities Services (GSS), from Tomasz Grajewski, effective 1 August.
Based in Vienna, Scheffold will be responsible for the securities services business globally at UniCredit.
She will report to Claudio Camozzo and Ernst Ohmayer, co-heads of Global Transaction Banking (GTB), and will also report locally in Vienna to Angelo Rizzuti, deputy head of GTB.
Grajewski, who has been head of GSS Poland since 2008, and gained additional responsibility as head of GSS in 2011, has decided to step down as head of GSS for family reasons.
He will remain Head of GSS Poland, and in this role will continue to further strengthen and expand the securities services business in Poland. Tomasz will remain part of the GSS Executive Committee.
Scheffold was previously head of “Securities Services 2”, in UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions (UBIS), which covers securities operations and IT for Germany and Austria. From 2010 through 2012 she held positions in UniCredit as head of Securities Operations in Commercial Banking, head of Country Operation Line Finance & Treasury, and head of Country Operation Line Securities Austria.
Prior to that, she was hhead of Unit Depository Bank Services. Scheffold started her career in the securities area in 1999 joining Bank Austria as a settlement employee.
