Aviva Investors adds two to senior leadership team

Aviva’s investment branch, Aviva Investors, has appointed David Clayton as chief financial officer on 17 December 2015, while Mike Craston will join as global head of Business Development on 14 January.

Craston’s hire is still subject to regulatory approval.

Both will be based in London and report to Euan Munro, chief executive officer of Aviva Investors. Clatyon will also report to Tom Stoddard, Aviva’s group chief financial officer.

Clayton will be responsible for the financial affairs of Aviva Investors, including reporting, capital and performance. He formerly held senior roles at Standard Life and PwC.

Craston will oversee business development activities worldwide; encompassing client solutions, client service, product and market intelligence, marketing and external communications.

Prior to joining Aviva Investors, he worked at Legal & General Investment Management for over 10 years. He led global distribution and client servicing and also served as CEO for both L&G America and Asia businesses.
