Bedrock hires head of Business Development

Global investment and advisory firm Bedrock has appointed Patrick Lachotzki (pictured) as head of Business Development and managing director of the firm’s fund management business.

Based in London, Lachotzki will be responsible for leading the firm’s business development strategy and building its fund business.

The firm runs the 20UGS brand since 2013 which is a Luxembourg domiciled Sicav that currently consists of five Ucits compliant funds.

It recently partnered with Canadian asset manager Fiera to launch the 20 UGS (Ucits) Funds Fiera Global Equity fund.

Lachotzki joins from BlueBay Asset Management where he built the brand across the Benelux region, Canada and the USA.

He was most recently head of Sales European Financial Institutions and formerly worked at Citigroup Global Markets as assistant vice president in its equities department.

Bedrock has assets of $9bn, with offices in London, Geneva, Monaco, and soon in Zurich.
