Aberdeen boosts Benelux marketing team

Aberdeen Asset Management has recruited Marloes Martis to its marketing and business in the Benelux nations.

As marketing manager for the trio of countries, Martis (pictured) will be based in Luxembourg and be responsible for building Aberdeen’s marketing activities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, where the UK asset manager is looking to strengthen the awareness of its brand among both institutional and retail investors.

Rob Sanders, head of marketing for Europe, said more people were aware of Aberdeen in the region, as a manager of equity, fixed income and real estate products, and appointing Martis would add to this.

Before joining Aberdeen, Martis worked for Internaxx, a subsidiary of TD bank where her main responsibility was for European marketing.

Before that she was at Van Lanschot Bankiers and Van Lanschot Chabot.
