APG Asset Management welcomes back senior strategist

Dutch pension asset manager APG Asset Management has appointed Frank van Weegberg as senior strategist last June, InvestmentEurope understands.

van Weegberg is returning to APG as he had previously served in that same role from 2003 to 2008. He was most recently worked at Achmea Investment Management where he spent eight years as senior investment strategist.

Prior to that, van Weegberg had been the chief investment officer of Amsterdam-based Palladyne Asset Management.

APG’s total assets under management amounted to €470.47bn as of 31 December 2017.
