BNPP IP adds SRI strategies to Dutch fund range

BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPP IP) has announced the addition of two new sustainable index strategies to its Dutch fund offering.

The Netherlands domiciled funds aim to combine growing demand for passives with the increased interest in sustainable investment.

Both funds invest in global equities using the MSCI ex Controversial Weapons as a benchmark. In addition, the investment horizon is also screened to exclude businesses which consistently violate the UN Global Compact Principles.

Through its registration in the Netherlands, the fund aims to benefit from bilateral tax agreements, resulting in lower levels of withholding tax to offset the effects of dividend taxes to be paid in the Netherlands.
