Delphi confirms fund name changes

Norwegian asset manager Delphi has changed the names of its funds to facilitate international sales.

The changes are: Delphi Verden being renamed Delphi Global; Delphi Europa being renamed Delphi Europe; and Delphi Norden being renamed Delphi Nordic.

Kurt Hauge (pictured), responsible for Delphi’s sales outside Norway and Sweden, said: “The changes to the names will not have any effect on the way in which Delphi’s funds are managed – they will continue to be actively managed based on the Delphi method.”

“We will only rename funds with international mandates, i.e. funds that can grow significantly in terms of size without jeopardizing the funds’ investment objective, which is to generate strong capital growth from unconstrained and concentrated portfolios of stocks”.

Delphi obtained a marketing licence for Finland at the end of March and a licence for the Netherlands in May. These new marketing licences mean that Delphi is now offered to private and institutional investors in Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands.
