Deutsche Bank Belgium names head of Fund Selection

Damien Le Maire has been promoted to the role of head of Fund Selection and Manager Research at Deutsche Bank Belgium last June, InvestmentEurope has learned.

He now oversees the fund selection team and continues to report to Youssef Uriagli, head of Portfolio and Funds Management. Le Maire has been working as a fund of funds manager at Deutsche Bank Belgium since 2010.

The unit has also seen the arrival of Thewodros Berhanu in June, in addition to Le Maire, Knut Huys and Dieter Vandewiele.

Berhanu has served as investment advisor for the last five years at Deutsche Bank Belgium. Prior to that, he held similar roles at BNP Paribas and Citigroup.
