Dutch discretionary boutique hires senior asset manager

DIMA Vermogensbeheer, based in the city of Oisterwijk (Netherlands), has appointed Jean-Paul van Bavel as senior asset manager.

van Bavel has taken up his new responsibilities in August and joins from CapitalatWork, an asset management company part of Luxembourg-headquartered insurer Foyer. He has served as asset management director in the firm’s Breda branch during more than seven years.

Before that, he had spent over 23 years at Dutch private banking group Van Lanschot mostly as senior portfolio manager.

DIMA Vermogensbeheer was founded in 2007.
