Dutch group hires CIO

Amstelveen-based Blue Sky Group has appointed Jack Jonk as head of Asset Management and chief investment officer.

Jonk succeeds Mark Burbach who joined Bahrein-based Osool Asset Management as CIO last April.

The appointment is subject to regulatory approval. Jonk will co-head BSG Vermongensbeheer, the investment and advisory arm of Blue Sky Group, with chief operating officer Jos Keijzers.

Most recently, Jonk has worked with Triodos Investment Management to further develop their sustainable investment strategy.

Prior to that, Jonk spent eight years at Delta Lloyd Asset Management, from 2007 to 2015. He was head of Equities and also held various roles involving institutional clients and alternatives.

Blue Sky Group has around €20.5bn of assets under management.
