Gamax closes in on UK, Scandinavia distributors
Luxembourg-based Gamax Management is close to announcing its UK wholesale distributor, as it looks to add to existing deals in Germany, Italy and Spain.
Furio Pietribiasi, chairman of the Board of Directors of Gamax, said that the firm is also looking into a deal for Scandinavian distribution, but is keen to ensure that this comes with suitable levels of customer support.
“For a small company/ Boutique-like as Gamax it is crucial to find the right people and organization through which we can market our funds,” said Pietribiasi.
“Such an outsourcing model was successful in Germany (max.xs), Italy (Finnat) and Spain (Trea) and we are looking for similar wholesale distributors in the UK and in Scandinavia.”
“In the UK we are at the end of a small beauty contest at this regard and we think we will be in the position to announce our cooperation in the next couple of months. In Scandinavia we made some meetings but we are still looking for the right solution. We want to get into the market with a possibly “full service” solution, this means we do not want to have our funds merely available through a platform, without having someone to give post-sale services.”
Gamax has also launched new institutional share clases.
