M&G bolsters institutional team in the Netherlands and Belgium

British asset manager M&G Investments has appointed Sander van der Wel (pictured) as senior institutional business development manager for the Dutch and Belgian institutional markets.

Joining from Aegon Asset Management, where he held a similar role, van der Wel succeeds Luuk Veenstra who is expected to take another position with M&G.

He will report to Stefan Cornelissen, country manager Netherlands at M&G.

Prior to his tenure at Aegon AM, van der Wel worked at Citigroup and Barclays, where he served as a director of fixed income sales, EMEA among others.
