People Moves: Inalytics, Citigroup Luxembourg
Inalytics hires for fiduciary manager analysis, Citi Lux securities and fund services to target investors in southern Europe and Latin America.
Inalytics, a consultancy that evaluates the skill of investment managers, has made a senior appointment to help asset managers and pension funds assess fiduciary managers.
Martin Jack (pictured) will analyse the skill of individual managers and the strategic advice given to pension funds.
“We are building a model to monitor and assess strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions as well as a framework to monitor and assess the effectiveness of pension liability hedging strategies,” said Jack on the function of his new role.
He moves from a similar position at Northern Trust Global Advisors, where he was responsible for its multi-manager business internationally, and set up its fiduciary management arm.
Beforehand, Jack worked at IBM for 28 years, 11 of which were spent heading the firm’s internal investment, pensions and risk management consulting group that covered 15 pension funds.
The US financial services giant plans to target investors in southern Europe and Latin America with the latest recruit to its securities and fund services business in Luxembourg.
Hired from Caceis Investor Services, where she was formerly head of regional coverage for those regions, Francesca De Bartolomeo becomes head of southern Europe investor sales at Citi. She will work within its global transaction services unit.
De Bartolomeo will also seek business from Latin American investors into Europe, the Middle East and Africa by working with Citi staff based in Latin America.
