Rabobank mulls three offers for Robeco
There are three offers for Rabobank’s asset manager Robeco, according to wire service reports.
One of the bids received is from a private equity consortium that includes Advent International and CVC. Another bid is from Japan’s Orix, while a third is from Boston based AMG in partnership with Permira – they want to split up the business, Reuters said.
Another company that has expressed interest is Australia’s Macquarie, but it has not entered a formal bid.
Robeco had €186bn of asserts under management at the end of July, Reuters said. Rabobank wants to sell the business to focus on its lending services.
