SSgA announces three new appointments to focus on EMEA active mutual fund business
State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) announced the appointment of three senior sales managers for the intermediary business in the UK, Italy and the Benelux.
Steve Muzzlewhite has been appointed as senior sales manager for the UK, Desirée Scarabelli as senior sales manager for Italy and Elaine Coussement as senior sales manager Benelux.
Steve Musslewhite will be reporting to Eleanor Hope-Bell, heaf of IBG UK. He has ove 20 years of experience in investment management sales, where he covered both the intermediary and institutional marketplace. He previously worked for Commerzbank, where he was head of funds solutions.
Desirée Scarabelli will be based in Milan and report to Danilo Verdecanna, head of SSgA Italy. Prior to joining SSgA, she worked for over eight years as senior sales manager at BNY Mellon Investment Management.
Elaine Coussement will be based in in Brussels, reporting to Robert Rijlaarsdam, head of SSgA Benelux. She joins from Amundi Asset Management Benelux where she worked in business development. Prior to this, she worked for the product management branch at Fortis Insurance Belgium.
