Vermilion continues rollout of Robeco data distribution platform

Vermilion Software has implemented the adoption of the FundsXML open data distribution standard as the latest stage in its rollout of a platform for Robeco Institutional Asset Management.

The adoption of the data standard is intended to support global business and shorten the time to market with fund information.

“Robeco can now distribute fund data to all global fund platforms in the market standard FundsXML output, via the Vermilion Reporting Suite,” the software and services provider said.

“Global distribution is driven from existing factsheet templates that will ensure ease of maintenance and delivery oversight.”

FundsXML is attempting, via working groups under the FundsXML Standards Committee, to set a standard for mutual fund information exchange via an open and free of charge file format that support fully automated data exchange.
