BHF-Bank appoints new board

Following French bank Oddo & Cie’s acquisition of a majority share of German BHF-Bank, the general meeting of BHF-Bank Aktiengesellschaft elected Grégoire Charbit and Werner Taiber as members of the supervisory board.

Grégoire Charbit is managing director of Paris based Private Bank Oddo & Cie, where he is responsible for Corporate Development, Legal and Oddo Metals. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Oddo Seydler.

Werner Taiber spent more than 20 years at German Landesbank WestLB, its asset management division was taken over by BNY Mellon in 2012 as BNY Mellon Boutique Meriten. Between 2014 and 2015, he acted as country Executive in the BNY Mellon Group. Meriten was subsequently taken over by Oddo & Cie at the beginning of 2015.

Both Taiber and Charbit are also members of Oddo & Cie’s Executive Committee

The BHF-Bank supervisory board now includes chairman Leonhard Fischer, deputy chairman Heinrich Linz, Dr Martha Böckenfeld, Grégoire Charbit, Konstantin Graf von Schweinitz and Werner Taiber as well as the Works Council members Sabine Diehl, Johannes Hellmann and Michael Rückl as employee representatives.
