Capitulum AM & Universal Investment launch sustainable interest rate strategy

Berlin based investment boutique Capitulum Asset Management together with Universal Investment has launched Capitulum Sustainable Local Currency Bonds Fund UI.

The fund has a sustainability filter in the selection of issuers and meets the requirements for investors subject to the Insurance Supervision Act (VAG). Accordingly, there will be a distributing and an accumulating asset class at the inception of the fund for institutional investors.

“Having been very interested in our tried-and-tested bond strategies since the founding of Capitulum Asset Management in April, we now also want to integrate environmental and social aspects into our work,” said Lutz Röhmeyer, managing director and founder from Capitulum AM.

The fund’s strategy diversifies into 70 currencies and several hundred bonds from various sustainable issuers in the target allocation.
