CPR AM appoints new CEO

Amundi’s thematic boutique CPR Asset Management has appointed Valerie Baudson as new chief executive officer of the company, succeeding Jean-Eric Mercier, who was heading the firm since 2009.

In addition to her new position, she will retain her role as CEO of Amundi ETF, Indexing & Smart Beta she held since 2013. Baudson is also a member of Amundi Group executive committee.

It is understood a managing director will be appointed soon to head up Amundi ETF, Indexing and Smart Beta and will be reporting to Baudson.

CPR Asset Management’s board of directors has also promoted Emmanuelle Court and Arnaud Faller, respectively, to deputy CEO heading business development and deputy CEO heading investments. Nadine Lamotte has been confirmed as chief operating officer responsible for administration and finance.

CPR’s assets under management at end 2015 amounted to €37.5bn.
