Deutsche AM names new head of Iberia

The asset manager of Deutsche Bank has named Mariano Arenillas as head of Iberia.

Arenillas will replace Luis Ojeda, former head of Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management for Spain and Portugal, who has stepped down to pursue new professional challenges, the company announced.

With over 20 experience in the asset management industry and over 10 years at Deutsche Bank group, Arenillas will continue with his responsibilities of distribution for Iberia, while being in charge of sales for Spain and Portugal.

Through his new position, Arenillas will work to consolidate the asset manager’s market share in Spain and Portugal, aiming to achieve a sustainable growth in assets and select the investment strategies that best suit local investors’ needs.
