Equity funds at highest levels since 2013
Equity funds posted €9bn across Europe in October, the highest level since 2013, according to Efama’s latest Investment Funds Industry Fact Sheet.
Equity net sales trebled from the €3bn registered in September. Bond funds registered net sales of €300m, up from the net outflows of €1bn registered in September.
Net sales of multi-asset funds remained steady for the third month in a row with net inflows of €8bn.
Ucits net sales increased to €51bn, rebounding from net inflows of €1bn in September. The increase can be attributed to large net inflows into equity and money market funds.
Ucits money market funds experienced a reversal in flows, recording net inflows of €23bn compared to net outflows of €11bn registered in September.
Total AIF net sales registered net inflows of €12.5bn, up from outflows of €6.3bn in September.
