France domiciled funds record €38.2bn inflows in 2015

France domiciled funds have drawn a total of €38.2bn in net new inflows in 2015 – excluding December inflows of alternative and real estate funds – consultant EuroPerformance has reported.

Inflows have been positive for the first time in six years.

Between 2010 and 2014, France domiciled funds have faced outflows of €213.7bn according to EuroPerformance data.

Some €21.3bn of inflows in 2015 have been in money market and long-term investment funds.

Assets under management of France domiciled funds have amounted to €817bn at end 2015, up 6.2% year-on-year.

However, AUM have dropped by 4.5% (€38.9bn) between November and December 2015. France domiciled funds have also reported outflows of €25.3bn last December.

Returns provided by France domiciled funds last year have amounted to €33.4bn.

EuroPerformance highlighted European equity funds’ outperformance.
