A Plus Finance launches fund investing French SMEs

French asset manager A Plus Finance has launched an FCPI (French mutual fund for innovation) investing in French innovative small and mid cap enterprises willing to develop their business internationally and especially in the United States.

The fund Ambition Cross-Border 2015 will fully invest in equities with the possibility of using yield instruments such as convertibles.

The firm said the state of development of the companies targeted by the fund was not the same from one to another, from risk capital to listed company, in order to build a balanced portfolio. The only sector excluded remains biotechnology.

Financing needs of the enterprises including in the vehicle range between €0.5m and €15m.

Investments are made for seven to nine years and the return of initial capital invested not guaranteed. Minimum investment is €1,000.

The  TER of the fund is 4.49%. The subscription is opened until 30 June 2016.

A Plus Finance manages and advises €600m of assets as at 31 December 2014, of which over 20% come from institutionals.
