Aberdeen appoints new heads of French business
Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed Sandra Craignou (pictured) and Frédéric Lejeune as joint heads of its French business.
Their appointment follows the decision of Philippe Troesch to leave Aberdeen to pursue an opportunity in wealth management.
Craignou and Lejeune will assume the roles of co-head of France. The appointment “reinforcees the importance of both [Aberdeen’s] investment management proposition and client relationships to its French client base,” the company said.
Both will also retain their current responsibilities as head of investments and head of business development respectively.
Craignou was previously responsible for hedge fund investments at Aberdeen.
She and Lejeune joined the asset manager in 2009 following the acquisition of certain asset management businesses from Credit Suisse Asset Management.
Aberdeen manages and oversees €5 billion on behalf of clients based in France.
